Raghu Pati Raghava :

Priyanka in Ramleela

* Recently, I have seen Priyanka Chopra dancing in two different films. No big deal. But in both songs / dance – `Raghu Pati Raghava Raja Rama’ was used.

The first being – her dance in `Krrish 3 ” with Hrithik Roshan – where they celebrate hero’s birthday. They gyrated to the words – like mad frenzy.

The second time, she recited the words `Raghu Pati….’ in her item number in Sanjay Leela Bansali’s magnum opus – Goliyon Ki Raas Leela – Ram – Leela.

Dama Daam Mast Kalandar : 

There were two films – where the old classic – `Dama Dam Mast Kalandar’ was used.

In `D – Day’ – A Nikhil Advani film, Rajpal Yadav was shown to be singing the song in a marriage ceremony. This version was recorded by Mika Singh.

And in another recently released film, `David’ – veteran actress – Sarika was singing this ever green number `Dama Daam Mast Kalandar’ – again in a marriage ceremony.

Billu , The Barber again :

Talented actor, Ifraan Khan – played hair dresser – ( barber ) in two films. In `Billu’ he played the lead Billu – who is a hair cutter by profession. And again, in `D – Day’ a Nikhil Advani political thriller he was a hair cutter by the day and a under cover spy.

The Two Timing Tiger :

There two films – where one got to computer generated tigers on the big screen. The first being the obvious name – The Life of Pi – An Aang Lee – movie that warmed our heart and won the jury at the Oscars.

The second being — take your heart – `Himmatwala’ – the Devgn version, where the tiger matched its stripes with Ajay Devgn’s superior acting abilities. Ajay Devgn is one of the best performers on the Hindi film horizon – perhaps that’s the reason – a super actor needed a super star of jungle to match.
