Shahid Kapoor and his Doggy Act……
Shahid Kapoor seems to be enjoying his doggy act too much. First he tried the stuff in his dance movements of `Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ while following and `pataoing’ wooing his heroine Ileana, in the song.
It seems from the sets of `Nikla Poster ….’ he just went for the song shooting of `R… Rajkumar’. First, the heroine, Sonakshi bestows him of the title of a canine. And he then he breaks into a dance.
Needless to guess he does the movements – of doggy movements. You wonder which movie you are watching. But good for Shahid – he saved a lot of time rehearsing for the dance movements. And yeah, he has also repeated his `tapori’ act in both films.
Sonakshi ‘s Double Act…..
No…No…. Sonakshi Sinha – the new golden girl of Hindi films is not playing any double role. I am referring to her `Bengali Act’. First she tried her `Bengali Jadoo’ in critically acclaimed Lootera, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. Next time, she played a Bengali belle in Bullet Raja, Tighmanshu Dhulia – action flick, acted and produced by Saif Ali Khan.
In Lootera she didn’t get to say even a `ki…hollo? … Whaat happened ? in Bengali. But…She did mouth big and long dialogues for Bullet Raja Again, she couldn’t spell (say) Bengal ka black magic as a Bengali babe in Lootera or tried and succeeded in saying long dialogues in Amaar Bangla… she looked anything but Bengali.
Her costumes were anything but Bengali…Though she was raving as ever…
As I have said earlier, Sonakshi seems to be the new goldern girl of Hindi films as of now. Last week she played heroine to Saif Ali Khan in Bullet Raja and this week in R…Rajkumar she is matching her acting chops with Shahid Kapoor.
Imagine two films, back to back, with Raja or Raj in their titles. Yeah, Sonakshi is reining the marquee for last two weeks.
Pointing a finger….
Quite a co-incidence this. First you see – Supriya Pathak – the matriarchal `Dhankor Baa’ – snapping the ring finger of her daughter, Leela – Deepika Padukone in `Goliyon Ki Raas Leela `Ram Leela – for not obeying her orders. And in R…Rajkumar , the villain, played by Sonu Sood – cuts the point finger of the character played by Bharat Dhabolkar – for not falling in line with him.
Perhaps, Hindi film makers have learnt a new way of maiming – in their films. Let us not point fingers at them…
